“Beautiful property in lovely countryside. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities provided. The bar was well stocked and the food lovely, although a little pricey, especially the children’s meal! Breakfast was fab with a great choice and cooked to order so was piping hot on arrival. Went to Kielder winter wonderland so this was an ideal stay as only 10mins drive away. Would definitely recommend.”

“We had a fantastic stay at this quirky and beautiful hotel. Even though we had booked the petite double room it didn't disappoint. As hotel rooms go it wasn't small. Beautifully decorated with beautiful ornate furniture and very comfy bed. Tea , coffee and water replenished every day. The breakfast and food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were excellent, lovely and friendly. We would definitely go back. ”

“A joy to stay with Elena and her team. A cosy property with more of a guest house vibe than a full-service hotel experience - but all the more enjoyable for that. The castle has a great gastro-pub just a 3-minute walk away in the village. Lovely cooked breakfast in the hotel, Ideal for a short stopover or to explore the area. Perfectly quiet and easily accessible by car or taxi from Newcastle airport. If you want to escape the formality of modern travel and. slow down a bit... Otterburn...

“We stayed here before the GNR. Good location. Room was clean and bathroom is good. Check in was easy. It had a kitchnette which i didnt realise, so next time id be able to prepare my breaksfast before the run. Would definitely recommend.”

“The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from.
