“Self checkin was very easy. Our door would not shut a couple of times but we figure it out .Nice decor Quaint town We had an issue with our AC but they fixed it right away. Bedding was very nice but bed felt like our heads were tipped down The floor was a little sandy. Very quiet area. Every communication was done by text. . We communicated with Daphne and she was wonderful!”

“Some hassle with door code not working at check in, but the hosts (accessed via phone) were very apologetic and helpful. The lodge is right next to the state park, a plus.”

“It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. “The lodge is probably a great place for people heading out fishing. If this is not your case I would look elsewhere .the rooms were comfortable but very basic. There were no screens on the windows, so you couldn't get any fresh air. The cleaning products they use have such a strong odor it turned my stomach. The toilet backed up the second day. At least it was quiet.”
