“The property is very nice. Not a hotel but more a high end hostel. No TV so plan accordingly. Spacious and communal kitchen so no room coffee. Bring a book or laptop.”

“It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. “The staff was extremely helpful. The room was clean. The locaiton was great. We loved being able to sit on the back patio in the morning while having our coffee. It was peaceful and relaxing. The perfect stay. Thank you!!”

“The lodge is probably a great place for people heading out fishing. If this is not your case I would look elsewhere .the rooms were comfortable but very basic. There were no screens on the windows, so you couldn't get any fresh air. The cleaning products they use have such a strong odor it turned my stomach. The toilet backed up the second day. At least it was quiet.”
