“Property is pristine, quiet, extremely comfortable, lots of space, great outdoor deck. It is very near Omega institute. It vould easily be used for personal retreat because it is nestled in quiet woods. We would defitely return enroute to Maine or NE for a night's stay.”

“Quiet location with easy driving access to the wider area. Staff were friendly and pleasant, and helpful with requests for extra towels and such. The breakfast/sitting area is bright, looking out onto a lovely patio by the stream outside that had morning shade. Room air conditioner worked very well!”

“A comfortable, lovely stay in a picturesque part of rural Connecticut. They served a delicious breakfast in a beautifully appointed dining room in the historic main house. A thoroughly delightful experience.”

“The property has outside appeal. The inside was clean and appeared maintained. However, the interior is built cheaply and this is noticeable in the rooms. The lighting is designed to go off automatically but this was a safety concern. When showering at night the bathroom lights would Click off and it would have to be reactivated to come on. The intent is noted but again, dangerous trying to manage in the dark. The room set up Felt more like an apartment meant for longer stays rather than a hotel...

“Perfect place to stay the night. You can hear the train passing by, but there are ear plugs and a white noise machine in the room. It didn't bother us at all, but it might other folks”

“Nonostante il preavviso di una settimana non sono riuscita ad entrare in contatto con i gestori per cancellare la prenotazione ed avere un rimborso ( unico modo era un contatto telefonico ma dall'italia complicato) Sarebbe andato bene anche un rimborso parziale, nulla. Alla mail con la mia richiesta non ho mai ricevuto risposta, al mio non apparire in stanza nemmeno. Non lo consiglierei a nessuno: nel mezzo della campagna senza nessun tipo di assistenza”

“The stairs were very steep. The hotel itself was dated but acceptable for our stay. There could be some upgrades to the hotel to make it seem a little nicer. It was a basic hotel that did it's job and allowed us to sleep comfortably with no distractions.”

“Staff was wonderful! Room was clean and spacious and parking was included which was really helpful. Only negative was air conditioner wasn’t fully working, even after having maintenance check on it.”

“The shower was the size of a shoe box. The staff was not friendly. We knew there were no Frills but there was not even a pot of coffee available in the room or in the office. Was not worth the money and felt we were overcharged for what we received.”
