The room was a big let down, I have stayed there before and said that the rooms looked tired and I was assured that they were being upgraded in January . “Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. “This is an okay place to stay while visiting St Leonard’s and Hastings. It seems to be a family-run place and full breakfast is provided and is good.Quick walk to the train and to the beach and laundromat. Some improvements have been made to the property which are cosmetic and actually quite silly. There was an attempt to make this old hotel look opulent while neglecting things like upgraded beds and bedding, soundproofing rooms, replacing broken window seals and fresh paint on the exterior....

“Stanze grandi e ben attrezzate. Uniche pecche: mancava lo spazzolino per il water e la temperatura dell'acqua calda non si poteva alzare più di tanto. Ovviamente si tratta di un hotel autostradale, quindi non si può pretendere che la location sia particolarmente amena, però in generale la stanza era davvero molto meglio della media riscontrata in tutta la vacanza.”
