B&B a Aree sulla costa del South Carolina

“We have been coming for many years, unfortunately the breakfast and the evening apps and drinks have gone down in quality. We still come as still a good deal in the folly location, just sad to see that the amenities aren't what they used to be.”

“They make their own beer and it's free to the guests. And it tastes good. The home is 1 block from the water front where there are many restaurants.”

“Beautiful, Historic B&B. Already planning our next visit. Staff was amazing!”

“My wife and I were very happy with our stay. Our room and the rest of the property was very clean and bright. Although the property is very old the amenities were modern, yet you still had the feel of old southern living. Abigail, our hostess was great. “We enjoyed our visit”

“We loved staying at the Barksdale House. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.”

“This is a self service hotel. No staff on premises. The breakfast that claims to be included is yogurt in the fridge and some granola. They don’t restock the fridge therefore there was no water after our second day, the water fountain also never worked so we couldn’t refill the coffee machine. The internet also didn’t work. All in all I don’t know how this could be rated a four star property.”

“Great location. Off site management company was a little different. Parking is minimal but the room was lovely and a short walk to the action on King Street. Recommend!”

“Enjoyable Stay! Nice to park the car and walk! Cozy room with everything you need!”

“Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and changes every day. Easy drive to "downtown" area or if you walk, about 15 to 20 minutes away. Very laid back and away from the crowds.”

“Such a cute place. Really enjoyed the seating areas outside, location, and comfort levels. I would stay here again”

“great staff”
