“I experienced some minor glitches which was resolved and I would like to stay here again on my next visit. The room, especially bathroom was very clean, air conditioning was in good working order and the bed was very comfortable. I am unsure though why they have stopped supplying the little 2-pack biscuits to go with your tea or coffee and glad I didn’t have the kids with me cos they love it🤔. The reception staff were polite, professional, friendly and helpful.👍 Complimentary cookie and ice...

“This was our second trip to the lion at Belpur, and though we couldn’t have the bigger room this time, the room we had was still adequate for what we wanted. Always good friendly staff, who are more than willing to help. The pub is located in a good area, close to shops and high street, and the mills and gardens. Fantastic time which is why we returned. ”

“Clean, comfortable room. Lovely, helpful staff and easy to check in and out. Great location for town too. Our only gripe was that the weather was warm and our upstairs room was uncomfortably hot, even with the fan provided. There was an air con unit in the room, but it needed an ice pack, so it didnt make any difference to us. Otherwise, lovely hotel and would definitely stay again.”

“The whole of the structure is amazing, my room was nice, however I was put at the back of the hotel next to the restaurant and all night there was a buzzing machine sound. Not being a good sleeper at the best of times, it did affect my night’s sleep. ”
