Hotel a Beach Lake

“I liked the convenient (and free) parking, the landscaping in the courtyard, the elevator, the clean room, good-working (and quiet) air-conditioner (& controlled by a thermostat on wall), a good bed with a variety of bed pillows, nice big tub-shower, with convenient pump bottles of shampoo, body wash, etc, and easy room check-out. :)”

“We pulled up to a very pretty house, big open front deck with porch swing and lovely seating area. Mary greeted us at the door and we got to know each other over a truly sublime homemade carrot cake and conversation around a cozy kitchen table. Her entire home is recently and tastefully renovated, clean and comfortable and we were made to feel right at home. 10 minutes away there was Kauneonga Lake with a small marina and 3 restaurants to choose from for dinner. In the morning Mary seduced us...

“The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was good. Even the coffee was good, which is unusual for a free buffet. Given the relatively low price of the rooms, the cleanliness and modern touches were very welcome. Overall, a great stay.”

“It's a such a beautiful place Mainly for golf seekers. Yet u could enjoy the area around... Foot trail , lake, peace and quiet. Loved it, my friend nurse and I nurse such an escape from reality. 1000 thanks/ God bless you. There is also a great dinner/ roscoe for a breakfast/ so delicious and Italian restaurant/ dont remember the name of it. Richmond's? Beautiful stuff and very good food even though they would say we are not that fancy... lol they were fancy good. I believe resort...

The Lakelyn Lodge in Lakeville PA is a newly renovated hotel with a fabulous eye to detail and with great finishing touches. We were extremely pleased with the attention to our needs and the attentiveness of the owners. It was a top notch experience from start to finish. We highly recommend the Lakelyn Lodge and look forward to staying here again!”

“The room smelled, the walls are dirty, dead bugs everywhere and the sink water came out yellow. The air conditioner was good and the hot water. It’s okay for one night, if you’re looking for an affordable place but be sure to bring towels and sheets”

“It is a charming hotel, with actual metal keys. Much more personal than a chain hotel. The television signal was not consistent, which was not surprising for the hilly location. We really enjoyed our stay. The town has many small shops, eateries which are worth enjoying”

“The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive.”

“After a long stressful drive, my arrival was warmly greeted and easy. The classic old school hotel set up was a nice change from the usual cookie cutter style. Every creak of the stairs had character (no elevator). The room was surprisingly spacious with an unexpected fireplace and large sitting area. The front desk saved me a seat at the busy bar, after mentioning that I'd be down soon. I enjoyed the on site delicious restaurant, old fashioned bar with a speakeasy feel, and live...

“We stayed in the champagne tub room with the heart shaped pool. Loved it! Plenty of space and very romantic room. We stayed 2 nights and never left the property. We attended a comedy show and a magic show both entertaining. We took a boat ride, played in the arcade, played mini golf and bowled. We did trivia and won. The deer and other wildlife around were adorable. Breakfast was good but dinner was amazing. One of the best steaks I've ever had. We truly had a memorable time.”

“Website is not how property shows in real life. Exterior of property needs updating as well as property grounds. Rooms interior are updated but common areas are still dated. Air conditioning units need to be replaced. Food is average and highly priced. Lake is not clear and was told by locals they do not swim in it. Staff was friendly and accommodating but accommodations and property were very average grade.”
