“Our stay was fine, the hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. The restaurant on site was not open due to it being the 4th of July however after paying what I consider premium rate I would have like to at least know that when checking in.”

Upon arrival,she greeted us with the most awesome homemade carrot cake. Breakfast the following morning was also homemade and delicious. Her home was charming,relaxing and beautifully decorated. “The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive.”

“It is a charming hotel, with actual metal keys. Much more personal than a chain hotel. The television signal was not consistent, which was not surprising for the hilly location. We really enjoyed our stay. The town has many small shops, eateries which are worth enjoying”

“Website is not how property shows in real life. Exterior of property needs updating as well as property grounds. Rooms interior are updated but common areas are still dated. Air conditioning units need to be replaced. Food is average and highly priced. Lake is not clear and was told by locals they do not swim in it. Staff was friendly and accommodating but accommodations and property were very average grade.”
