“Vicino al ponte sul fiume, potrete raggiungere il centro storico in un attimo e vedere cosi' il Duomo e le Shambles, ovvero l'antico mercato. York non mantiene gli aspetti medievali che promette ma potrete vedere la sua principale attrazione, cioe' il suo forte ricollegabile ai Vikinghi e alla storia degli York in genere. Tutto questo a due passi dall'albergo”

“Struttura tipica e caratteristica del posto, architettura e giardino piacevole, MA personale scortesissimo, abbiamo dovuto passare la prima notte fuori dall albergo per aver ffatto mezz ora di ritardo dal tempo massimo del check in, camera eccessivamente piccola e nella sala colazione siamo stati cambiati di posto, rispetto a quello prescelto, nonostante in struttura eravamo gli unici.”

“Un albergo che,anche se distante dal centro di York,offre il meglio dell'albergatoria inglese:confort,silenzio,eleganza,calore.Il fatto di essere fuori città non crea disagio perchè un delizioso sentiero lungo il fiume porta in città a piedi in 40 minuti,oppure l'autobus n.11 ferma proprio davanti all'hotel,ed ovviamente i taxi che portano a destinazione in 10 minuti con una spesa più che onesta.E' un paradiso in mezzo ai prati che solo in inghilterra sono così verdi!”
