“On this site and the hotel site there was no where to indicate that we would be bringing our dog. Upon check in I was told I was booked for the king bed I had requested but it was on the 3rd floor where pets were not allowed. Was told I needed to be on the 1st floor but no “king” rooms were available, only queen. I then asked for the difference of $20 and was told they couldn’t do that since I had pre-paid. Why not just hand me a $20. Total B/S ! ”

“First timers and we really enjoyed everything staff was nice polite helpful, The room was very clean All bathrooms on property were very clean Love the variety of restaurants, food, and drinks on property. Breakfast was delicious. The rotten real restaurant is phenomenal. Their pancakes are delicious.”

“Only stayed one night and it was as expected. Not fancy but clean, and the staff was very responsive. I appreciated the free shuttle to downtown. They have a lovely green area with mature blossoming fruit trees behind the hotel and near the pool, giving a small buffer from the highway and a large space to walk your dog. I thought the mattress was going to be too stiff, but I ended up having a great night's sleep. Great water pressure in the shower. Parts of the hotel are a bit aged, but...

“Beautiful place to stay with a breathtaking view of the Chesapeake Bay from a hilltop. Has a speakeasy bar in the basement which takes you back to the 1920’s. Breakfast is very subperb!”
