“Lovely place to stay! The owners are fabulous and the surroundings (working vineyard & farm) are beautiful. Mine was only a one night stay but would love to revisit when I have more time. Hi speed internet worked great. Bed was amazingly comfortable & there was a kitchenette with table & chairs. Huge closet, full size fridge & microwave. The front porch is a delight. I was on a fast trip to look for horses in Bath, NC. It was well worth the 40 minute drive. Would have loved to ride the free...

“This property does welcome dogs. Free for one and 15 clams for to. 80 pound limit per dog. There is limitted and tight truck parking. Property was clean and staff more than accommodating. Would definitely stay again!”

We were made to feel at home by the staff from the first moment as Tracy gave us a tour of the amenities and showed us to our room. The homemade ginger cookies in the break area were yummy. “Great all around! My only complaint is they did not have any diet or zero sugar drink selections in their vending area, nor at breakfast. The morning breakfast staff was great interacting and joking with my two boys, as well as helping them with their plates, drinks, etc. Would definitely stay here again!”

“This is an older motel, parking right at the door to your room, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I needed a place to sleep for the night for work in the area and this location was perfect for what I was looking for. As mentioned this is an older motel that could use some renovation, but it was also one of the lowest nightly rates in town so I found it to be a good value for the money. If I find myself needing a room again in the Washington, NC area I would definitely stay here...

“We stayed for 1 night. Linda was very responsive and communication was above par. She’s accommodating when we arrived at almost midnight. She greeted us and allowed us a late check out so we could get more shut eye and a chance to walk around and explore New Bern downtown. Breakfast was superb. The dining room was well equipped with fresh fruits and brownies. I highly recommend Meadows Inn.”

“Location was beautiful, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked great, and appreciated the black out curtains. Our daughter loved the balcony and view of the water. Water pressure in the shower was very nice and towels were super soft. Breakfast from the Bistro was expensive but delicious!!”
