“Easy check in and check out. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was really good and breakfast the following morning was equally good. We had a superior room which, although small, was clean and had everything we needed. The only minor issues we had was working out how to turn on the bedside lamps and bizarrely how to turn on the tap in the bathroom! Overall I would recommend the hotel and would also stay again if in the area.”
“The staff was fantastic. I didn’t have A/C in my room. They immediately ran to get me a fan and moved me the next day in to a new room. The staff was very helpful and hospitable. I stayed and had dinner there on a few of the nights on my week stay and every employee they had working were super friendly. Would stay there again. ”
“We loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations.”

“We had a lovely stay!!!! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated with all.the amenities and added extras you could wish for!! The pub itself was lovely - clean with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Two nice outdoor seating areas, and the beer garden itself was fully enclosed - great for dogs and kids. Hotel and pub were dog friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of hot and cold offerings! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again!”
