“We had a great stay, the accommodation was comfortable and clean, the hot tub was a great feature and so relaxing. the grounds are quiet and we were visited by some chickens too! Perfectly located for a break from every day life, just 5 minute drive to the town and half an hour to the beach. “Marldon village is a lovely quiet area which is easily accessible to Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Daisy cottage was very comfortable, clean and well equipped.”

“Despite the complex instructions to find the cottage, it was fairly easy. (A quick look beforehand on Google Street View helped!) Found it best to park the car first in the Freshwater car park as you exit the harbour up the hill. This is a long stay car park costing approx. (August 2024) £10 for 24hrs. It's worth buying a permit for the week as it is valid in other car parks in the whole of Torbay too for when you trip out. It's an easy flat walk from here (and you may get a glimpse of seals...

“The ability to get to restaurants etc in the harbour was poor as very long way down and steep climb up. No smart TVs no Spotify on Alexa and the request to leave apartment clean was unacceptable as would have better service from a hotel and the price paid was high end and expectations were not met.”

“I absolutely loved staying at this cottage. It was so homely, beautifully decorated, very clean, extremely comfortable bed and had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect everything on our doorstop. Would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely book again. The only issue I had was contacting the host prior to the booking. But we managed to speak to Skye cottages eventually and was able to ask the questions we had.”
