“Stayed one night on road trip. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Ample, easy parking with the pub located only a short drive from Scarborough and Robin Hood's Bay. Breakfast was great with a large selection of alternatives cooked dishes, as well as the 'full English'. Overall good value. Would definitely stay again.”

“First sight of the hotel made me think its was a bit run down, outside paint work and car park (that was of a good size) needed some TLC. On going in the Hotel was busy, the 2 staff that where there were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fine room was ok for me ( bathroom needed to be made over) i was in room 12 facing the road so if you a light sleeper not the best room as you face the main road.

“Max and Ursula were excellent hosts who made me feel really welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was really comfortable and perfect for what I needed. The Sunflower Lodge was in a great location and within walking distance of the centre and less than a 10 minute walk to North Pier! I would definitely stay here again!”

Our 3 day stay was wonderful. Large comfy rooms with huge bed. Modern bathroom with walk in shower. Garden was perfect to sit in, with a cosy summerhouse.
Breakfast was stunning - local produce, even down to the apple juice produced from their own orchard. Honey and jams all very local too, as were the ingredients of the cooked breakfasts.
Bar stocks local beers and spirits.
Andrew and Lucinda are perfect hosts.
