“Room was spotlessly clean and the bath and shower room was fantastic, all the staff were friendly and courteous and the food was brilliant. Excellent pub for everyone with a good selection of drinks, we will be returning here”

“Room was large and clean with a bath and shower. The hotel is in a beautiful village next to the river and many lovely walks. Evening meal was excellent, as was breakfast. All the staff were great with Naomi going above and beyond.”

“The room was in some what of a good condition apart from the pervious persons rubbish under the bed and the cobwebs above the bed limited heating with no control of it found ourselves rather cold throughout our time in the room. ”

We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. “Our stay was fabulous. Its an amazing place with amazing staff and food. Beds and rooms we're immaculate. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 star was the dogs barking late at night. Don't know of they were inside or out or both but it was on going for quite a while. Will be back though ”

“What a pleasant place this was. We had food in the Dolly bar and it was excellent. The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and had everything you could want If I was being picky it would of been lovely to of seen outside lights from the bar so you could see the river in the dark”

“This was the second time that I have stayed here. The hotel is well worn - don't expect a new out-of-the-box chain hotel - but the staff are excellent and the view is superb. To sit at breakfast and look out over the bay cannot be matched by hotels in Lancaster or on the motorway. It's not much more than 15 minutes by car from the M6, parking is free and the sea is just over the road.”
