“We stayed at 13 different hotels over 14 nights. Several of them were good, some of them were quite good. None of the 12 that were not Publick House compared to Publick House. That's not idle talk. Public House was just as charming as could be. I love old architecture. Main building was built in 1750. Our breakfast, from the "bake shop," sets the bar for delicious pastries. Really. And the staff were super. They smiled, not out of required obligation, so far as one could tell, but...

“The hotel is a little old, but it is very clean and pretty for a nice stay! The area around it is wooded and really nice! The staff was very friendly and I really enjoyed my stay. I do wish that they had some vegan items on the menu at the restaurant. There was one veggie burger, but it did not specify if it was vegan and the menu was heavily based on animal flesh and meat. Other than that, the day was great and the price was great! I would definitely recommend recommended! ”

“The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. It felt very high end for the price. The little touches were so nice, from the coffee station to the reading lights on the walls to the robe in the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.”
