“My family and I had a great time there. It is clean, the kitchen had more than enough cooking utensils, the appliances were in good working order, and it was incredibly cozy. We had three adults, two teenagers, and a dog, and yet it felt incredibly spacious. We left an hour before it started snowing, so we’re hoping to redo this trip next winter. At least we know where we’ll be staying. :)”

“The room was clean, the staff was friendly and we had a full kitchen. The fireplaces in each room worked so well that we didn’t have to turn on a heater. We were truly impressed with the layout of the unit. We will definitely speak about our travels to whomever wishes to stay in Big Bear. ”

“Very clean & quiet. Nice, basic, no frills. Older and a little worn, firm mattress in the King cabin. Nice to have a dedicated parking space. A short drive (not walking distance)from the village or grocery. No onsite staff- just online registration and text messages with someone working remotely- so no recommendations for where to eat, get coffee etc. Overall good value.”

“Breakfast and staff were great, however, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard and would make noises anytime you would move around on the bed, to the point where it felt like the bed was going to break at any given moment. The structure of the bed felt unsafe.”

“Quiet area with a beautiful lake view. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom has a heater which came in handy at night after a long day of running in the mountains. Super close to Big Bear Ski Resort and close to all the small shops. Definitely recommend and will be back!”

“I booked a stay just for 1 night and confirmed everything. Got the receipt, cabin number, door code. Etc, early the day of the check in. Drove up there to find out that they double booked our stay and could not accommodate us. We drove 2 hours with 2 babies with us to find out that we can’t stay to a cabin that we wanted. I still appreciated the offers of atleast getting us alternative stay to their property or other properties, but it’s just really inconvenient and waste of time not having what...

“No informayion about the property, amenities or how the heater/ac worked was provided. The hotel looked old and unmaintenance by a professional. It looked like an untrained contrator did repairs yo the room. Never staying there again.”

“Wanted to me to pay extra because Expedia didn’t pay them busted door hinges in the front damage all around the place mold in shower and calcium stains wasn’t as advertised a couch in the picture of the listing wasnt there when we got there and it was replaced with a single bed ”

“Hello. the location is ideal in Big Bear. My room was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. They were professional and courteous. A couple of maintenance items that could use improvement. The hot tub was not hot. There was a smell of gas leak in the stairwell next to the front lobby. The upstairs third floor bedrooms were very hot at 85 degrees. The hallways upstairs were also very hot. We opened the windows to get some breeze to ease the heat. These appear to be all fixable...
