The only detail that emerged was that the room had no "Do not disturb " sign and the cleaning lady opened the room at 10 AM while we still were there. Other than that excellent hotel, service and location as usual. I´ve been staying there once or twice every year for the last 6 or 7 years and of course I´ll keep getting back ”

The location is an easy drive to any winery and walkable to downtown Guerneville for food and drink; be sure to hit up the local bank turned into an ice cream shop! ”

“A colleague of mine recommended Stavrand and so I booked it as a birthday getaway-- it was PERFECTION! Everything I wanted and more! This might just need to be an annual tradition. The only flaw was the alarm on our bedside clock going off at 6am(!) BUT I have to say, if that hadn't happened I wouldn't have gotten to sip coffee downstairs in a cozy nook while reading my book and gazing at the foggy redwoods out the big beautiful windows. So I can't complain! We will be back. ”
