Inn a Colchester

“Very dated rooms & uncomfortable beds no air conditioning or fan. Breakfast only available 8.30 -9 am even though the information card in the room states 8.30-9.30, was told this is only at weekends? So why doesn’t information card state this? Two of us went for breakfast after 9 and was refused. Chef was only able to make a bacon sandwich. Coffee was thick and gloopy and undrinkable . “On the plus side the housekeeper was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was beautifully tiled but the fittings were not working as they should. We did mention that the sink plug stuck but it was still the same when we left. Breakfast was also excellent and could not fault the full English for quality and cooking.
