“I was extremely pleased with my stay at the Microtel in Ames. It was much cleaner, nicer, and quieter than any of the similarly priced hotels where I've stayed in the area. I was especially pleased with the service I received when I checked in. The heating system in my room was not functioning, which I understand can happen. “The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Not too much sound other than the highway but I had a pleasant stay.”

“The room had no heat when we first arrived, but warmed up fairly quick. I’m not sure why they left the room unheated when it is pretty chilly outside. The beds are comfortable and the shower was warm. They could use a few more towels. ”
