“The overall cleanliness appeared good until we got in bed and lifted up the comforter, we could see mold through the middle of it between the top and bottom layers in the stuffing part. It was late at night and didn't go downstairs to get another one because the wait time for the elevators was 15ish minutes. The indoor pool was cold (we stayed in March) so we couldn't swim either. For the price, I honestly expected a little better. ”

“The moment we pulled up we were greeted with the the most friendly vallet attendant. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful as well as we were not sure where to park the car at first but one phone call to the front desk aa she noticed us parked and assured us we were in the right spot. “Do not, I repeat DO NOT stay at this property. I had a day trip to Virginia and needed a quick place to stay. When I arrived first red flag were kids playing in the parking lot. Not to say that they can’t play, but it was obvious these kids lived at the property. When I got inside the room, it smelled like cigarettes, the beds were just mattresses on spring frames, pillows were different sizes, bathroom was dirty. Even though the surface of the bed didn’t have any stains, if I had a black light...

“The room walls had mold on them there weren’t any pillowcases on the pillows which were left in a pile on the bed the linen was dirty and the front desk staff was very rude and did not provide good customer service or communication skills ”

“It’s an older property as fast as HI’s go but still clean and comfortable. Even better, the staff were great! Bryan at the front desk is someone I remembered from a stay at the HGI in Chesapeake - top notch. Karen hosted breakfast and sang softly to the soundtrack. I had my headphones and YT music but didn’t need them. People make the difference and this team rocked it! Don’t hesitate at all to stay at this one ”

“The rooms were dirty , they had crack heads cleaning the rooms . Our check in was for 3 pm , rooms weren’t done until 4:30 . And they had thugs outside with guns walking around .”
