Hotel a Comus

“Check in at 3pm staff was terrible for sure need to be replaced. I they were recibe complain before about the same staff. Look like they don’t care . Thanks”

“Two minutes after arriving, we had a knock at the door. Not expecting anyone, my boyfriend responded “who is it?”. A voice of an older man said “the boogy man”??? We asked what he was going at our room, to which he said “I’m about ready to knock this door down”. After calling hotel security, they came up and said no one was in the halls anymore and to call if we hear it again. After finally falling asleep we woke up to loud noises at 4 am that didn’t end until 5:30. It was two people opening and...

“Fine hotel. A little old and worn but clean and fully functional for all our needs. Bed was really great and water pressure was superb too.”

“Just pretty ‘down’ - entrance area smelled, the breakfast was awful (I turned on my heals and went to BUY coffee), they gave away my friend’s room and made up a bunch of excuses. I don’t think there was even an elevator? The sheets were a weird fabric… perhaps some unhomed people Living there? No chance I will make this mistake again.”

“The carpet in room had patches of no padding n worn out look overall. Front desk was not very welcoming but it was a late evening ckin. Ice machine not on my floor - 1st floor only. Fridge was not turned up so warm when arrived but cooled down eventually. No Freezer compartment for reusable ice blocks.”

“Very nice and clean room. Staff at front counter were always super polite, helpful and welcoming.”

“Newly renovated rooms”

“Room was clean. The bathtub appeared to be newer, but there wasn't a rubber mat, nor anything stuck to the bottom of the tub to keep people from slipping, sliding and falling. I fell once while trying to bend over to get the soap for washing and then again while I was hanging onto the handicap bar and trying to turn around to get rinsed off. We put a towel on the tub floor to keep from slipping. I informed the front desk when I checked out.”

“Warning: A LOT of steps! The guest rooms are on several levels—definitely not handicap-friendly. We have done several B&Bs over the years and always enjoyed great breakfasts and meeting the innkeepers and other guests. While breakfast was good and made to order, the “charm” we’ve enjoyed in the past was missing. The decor was very eclectic—no real theme other than filling up a very large facility. “The non-smoking room was previously smoked in, had to change rooms. Second room the floor was so sticky we couldn’t walk without shoes on. Front desk was not overly helpful. We arrived late at night and if we had arrived earlier in the day we would not have stayed. I would not recommend this to anyone. ”
