Hotel a Cottageville

“Nice staff (the state of the property or the rooms is NOT their fault), but the rooms are derelict: filthy, filled with the stench of smoke and musty everything, broken lights/furniture, holes/cracks everywhere, and with bugs. ”

“Hotel cheats and lies to its guests. Warning do not stay here….No management on site they leave the receptionist to deal with all the BS. And the promises never to be kept…”

“Kind of sad. Place needs an overhaul. Unfriendly check in. No breakfast. Derelict pool and area around it. Clean the place up. If you are not going to have a functioning clean pool, fill it in and make it look there was never a pool. Get rid of all the broken chairs and trash. You might be able to raise your rates eventially ”

“Breakfast was good. Room was adequate and clean except bathroom. Old, cramped and beat up. Parking was sufficient. Limited dining in area.”

“Was not fancy by any means, but we only needed to sleep for a few hours on our 20 hour drive to Florida. Was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast consists of toast, juice amd coffee. ”

“The staff was nice and check in was quick, however, when I got to the room, the fridge was dirty with previous guest’s stuff, the TV didn’t work, and the main light switch didn’t work. Other than that, the beds and bathroom were clean, and we were able to sleep comfortably. ”

“The milk was all expired! They ran out of eggs . The pancake maker was not working. They start breaking the breakfast down and closing it 15 minutes before it closes . At 9:15 the cinnamon rolls were turned off and sit aside so they were getting cold. The grits were dried out. In Tuesday morning the attendant was rude. The other days the attendants were nice. Overall the place was great but this part about breakfast needs work!!!”

“Room had visible amount of mold under and around the ac unit. Smell from this was all through the room”

“Clean room , a little rough in some areas. Ok location for those passing through. Not much options for dinner. But we are from the north where there are amazing restaurants. Crackle barrel is right across but we are not fans of their food. ”

“When I arrived at the hotel no one was in the office and it was locked. I had to bang on the window and wait some time to be helped. After I finally got my room, it was in very poor condition overall, worst of all the dead-bolt didn’t work and there was no hot water in the shower. Terrible experience.”

“Floors were dirty in the room; hallways were dirty. Trash outside room doors when we arrived and still there when we checked out. ”

“Basically, the room was clean. Both beds had stained blankets on them. This hotel is under construction, you can get in by using the front door or a side door near the front of the hotel. ”

“The hotel staff was excellent. They were friendly and professional. The general manager was extremely helpful in assisting me with a change in my reservation. The property was well lit and I felt safe coming in and out after dark. The lobby area and entrance was welcoming. The room was clean and just as described. I will definitely stay at this property again.”
