Hotel a Cragsmoor

“Hotel is basic but clean. Staff was nice and polite. Breakfast offering was sparse. Lack of electric outlet in room. Check in is at 4pm. We were 40 minutes early and were charged $20 early check in fee.”

“The room was clean and comfortable. There seemed to be a construction project going on at the main building, but it didn't affect us at all. Breakfast was simple fare and freshly made.”

“Did you ever want to experience what it would be like to stay at a bed in breakfast? Well this is the place to go! So quaint and cute! Located right in the heart of the town of Montgomery. Plenty of things to walk to and see in the area. Brianna the manager was wonderful. Very helpful and informative. The breakfast choices were delicious. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.”

“I usually don't stay at Red Roof, but this one was in much better condition than the last one I stayed at. I would stay again.”

“Very disappointing experience. My daughter almost slipped into the pool because the railing was loose, creating a serious safety hazard. We brought this to the hotel’s attention, but no refund or compensation was offered. There was also very limited seating by the pool, the hallways had a strong odor, and the location did not feel safe. Due to these concerns, we chose not to stay and left the property. I would not recommend this hotel.”

“We stayed two nights at this property, it is not a hotel at all, it is rooms for stay. The location is not in a great part of Middletown and looks nothing like the outside photo that is in the listing, and I was not comfortable leaving the property by myself. The first night we returned back, the front door to the building was wide open, we were scared to enter the building, and someone was parked in our designated space. I immediately contacted Expedia and they were not able to reach Norman....

“We had a wonderful stay. The room and home was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a highlight, with a spacious Jacuzzi bathtub that was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Everything was comfortable, and we enjoyed our visit. We would definitely stay here again.”

“One of the worst experiences with hotel services. Our room was falling apart. The toilet was almost broken and uneven. The smell was really bad and “the breakfast” was a paper bag with an apple, “juice”, peanut butter jelly sandwich and a frozen egg sandwich croissant “. We felt like kids going to school.”

“I honestly wasn't expecting much from the property. Boy was I surprised. For a pet friendly hotel, it is SOOOO clean. The staff could not have been more attentive. The breakfast was wonderful. I actually told my husband, as we left the parking lot to go home, "I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to New Paltz. Thank you for such a great stay."”
