Hotel a Crystal Lake

“The property is dated but clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Country Motor Lodge which is on a hill above the main property. For the young a short walk to the restaurant, for us a car ride. The restaurant was excellent. We were there to attend a 70th High School reunion lunch. The food and attention to detail was excellent.”

“I didn’t get the room that I paid for and then after I mentioned that I was in the wrong room for some reason every time I left my room and I came back to the hotel. My key will not open the door so I went three stories up in an elevator my key didn’t work and then I had to go back down to reset my key, but I think that was done because I complained about I did not get the room I paid for”

“No soap in our shower. Stayed overnight quickly so didn't really allocate time to ask for some, but we really shouldn't have to do that at all.”

“The property was clean and well maintained. We stayed in room #3 and it was very nice. The breakfast consisted of only a cranberry muffin and Keurig coffee. Most restaurants and businesses in and around the town are closed on Monday and Tuesday.”

“Dead bugs in the beds. Stains all over carpets. Kids running around the halls at night. Lots of live ants on windowsill. No soap in bathroom. Won’t come back”

“I needed to be in one of the Handicapped rooms (101). Absolutely nothing electrical worked except the lights and little refrigerator. No A/C-Heater; no TV, no fun! It was a later night check in for me, I was exhausted, and I wasn’t up to change rooms once all my luggage was there. This is really unacceptable, even though renovations were happening. The room should have been fixed before placing a customer there!!!”

“There are not enough words to explain how disgusting and dirty and repulsive everything and that hotel was, the sheets were not clean. The bedspread was stained with human fluids. The TV remote control was broken. There was bugs on the sink, cigarette stains all over the tub. The toilet was dirty, and that was the first room we went into and then the second room was exactly the same however, the tack strip that attaches the rug in the threshold of the bathroom was exposed, and I stepped on it...

“Showed up and the pool was not open yet and the first floor was boarded up from a gun shooting that happed 4hr ago. Check-in took forever with only one computer. Was trying to cancel and only the manager could override the system and they were not in after a shooting just happened and an innocent bystander was in critical condition.”
