“Needs a serious upgrade, we felt like we were at motel 6. Pool was cloudy and bathroom was dirty, toilet paper holder was broken. The room just looked so dingy”

“We left upon arrival. Room smelled of smoke and must. The room was substantially smaller than anticipated - the king bed did not leave much walking space around the perimeter, even for a person of smaller stature such as myself.”

When we reported the incident, the manager suggested that we must not have closed the door properly, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. “Good hotel in Newark for a 1 night stay. Close to shopping mall. Easy parking”

“Hotel was pretty beat up but okay overall”

“Rooms were a good size, though a bit worn. Things like hand prints on headboards and rust around bath drain and a bathroom sink drain that would not properly seal. Breakfast service was good, on par with a Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn. One weird thing. You had to go up/down a step to enter or exit a room. A major trip hazard.”
