“The studio sits up on a hill with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The location is private (it shares a driveway and parking with the adjacent main house, also rented), yet easy to get to right off the main road. Super convenient for all the area has the offer. The studio is charmingly decorated and has enough amenities to make a great stay. ”

“My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend away from the city. The artist’s studio was the perfect size, very spacious, well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. The deck was a great place to relax in the sun. The location is extremely quiet, but very convenient to Hudson where there are shops and restaurants. My advice to travelers is to plan restaurants in advance because some have strange hours of operation, and businesses in town seem to close early compared...

“We had a wonderful stay! It was easy to travel everywhere in the area - we went to Art Omi, downtown Hudson, and across the river to our favorite haunts in Athens, Coxsackie, Catskill, Boiceville, Phoenicia, and Windham! The extra bonus at the house was the fantastic music collection. ”

“The accommodation is exactly as it appears in the photos, although with no house number it took us a while to locate the specific property on the road. It’s great that we could take our dog and he loved it too. Claverack is an ideal location for Hudson. ”

The four-poster king-sized bed was very comfortable, the large tub in the bathroom was a delight, and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The hosts made check in and check out very easy. We were in the area for a jazz festival and to visit a friend. This was a lovely country stay for the weekend. ”
