There are many good restaurants in the area, and the arts scene is quite vibrant in Port Jervis. “Excellent host, communicative and helpful. The space is a nice space and plenty of rooms for all. The river access is great and really lovely to have. If you're going in the winter there is a great, new sauna on the deck. We had a great time grilling on the propane griddle and relaxing on the deck. Peaceful and quiet. Be aware, if you are tall, the doorways are a little low, and one of the bedrooms is just off the kitchen and not private.”

“While the interior of the house was nice, our stay was completely ruined by a not friendly host and unacceptable living conditions. The host locked the thermostat and shut off the AC during a heatwave, leaving the house over 100F. Despite explaining that I had two senior citizens with me who were in physical distress from the unbearable heat, the host refused to turn the AC back on remotely. They told us to open the windows, stopped communicating entirely, and told me to take my complaints to...
