“We escaped for thanksgiving with family. The cabin had plenty of space for the family, from sitting to sleeping. The master bedroom was cold due. It has an electric heater but it doesn’t warm the room up. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare our meals. You have zero phone service, if it wasn’t for WiFi you would be able to communicate. In the event of an emergency, you hope WiFi calling works or you are not getting help. Would probably come back again. ”

“Traveled with our family of four for a long weekend. We loved the peaceful setting and spent our nights around the firepit eating s'mores! Our days featured short trips to Andrews for a railbike tour and a stop at Nantahala Outdoor Center. Communication was great, and the owners were very attentive. We highly recommend!”

“Cute little motel. Most motels are pretty sketchy, but this was a cute little building that my wife and I loved. I took off one star from the clean writing because the first night there was dog hair or something on our comforter on the bed and on the first layer of sheets under that but once we notified them they took care of it immediately.”

“Cabin was the perfect getaway for us. It was clean and well kept with excellent tips and instructions from the hosts . The surrounding area was beautiful with fall colors and the small stream by the cabin was relaxing to listen to. ”

“Great couples cabin. Everything we needed was available including kitchen and full size refrigerator. Murphy is a great place to visit and found good food downtown. Location puts you close to Blue Ridge, Helen, Ga and within 1.5 hrs of Cherokee NC, with the eastern entrance to the Smoky Mt National Park”

“Ben and Christine are great!! This is a beautiful property and if you love being in the mountains this is for you. I was hoping to slow down and reset during this trip. I was able to do that and more. If you’re looking to pretty much get off the grid, this is a great option. Grateful that Ben and Christine have shared a part of their property for others to enjoy.
