“My husband stayed here when we had a death in our family. He commented how lovely the room was (cottage) , the bed was comfortable and he loved the cats that lounge on the exterior. “Very nice clean cabin, with a great view from the top of the mountain. Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. It is somewhat remote from any shops and restaurants, so plan your trips accordingly. We enjoyed the quiet mornings, fun family day trips (Lurray Caverns, hiking and driving Skyline Drive), and peaceful evenings. The host will introduce you to the horses and allow you to pet and feed them (with supervision).”

“I enjoyed the space and accommodation. I was a bit overrun by large black ants, lady bugs and a few wasp. Constantly killing and sweeping. The lodge restaurant and pavilion were enjoyable.”
