“Exceeded expectation!!!!!! This place so peaceful, quiet, nice little nook in the cranny. Friendly staff. Had issue with air conditioner and they came right away to fix the issue. Other guest very friendly. will stay again. If you need a break from reality this is the place to be. ”

The treehouse exceeded any and all expectations from comfort, cleanliness and cozy vibes. Never heard another soul as neighbors kept to themselves, however we were often visited by the friendly cats of the community. “My husband and I stayed here after hiking in Shenandoah for the day. Beautiful property back in the woods/country. Our room had a beautiful view especially in the morning with the sunrise. Loved sitting outside in the morning. Would definitely stay here again- maybe at one of the cabins with our kids. ”

“This property was one of the best we have stayed at. It was everything we needed, the bedroom and bathroom luxurious. The kitchen area was the perfect size, stocked with a choice of coffees, teas and snacks. It’s perfectly located to go to the many wineries, restaurants and shopping in the area, It is an easy drive into Charlottesville. Our hostess was great, texting to check if we needed anything. “A great place to rest our heads after a long day of hiking! The Glad Cottage was the perfect size for the two of us and our dog, though keep in mind it is tiny! It was clean, the kitchen was modern, and the cabin itself was cozy and welcoming. We had our own fire pit and deck which was a great bonus, plus lots of space to walk our dog.”

“Amazing views and a quiet, cozy place to stay. We saw several deer on the property in the mornings and enjoyed the seating options on both patios as well as indoors. They had a great collection of books for all ages and board games to enjoy. Beds were comfy and all the windows let you really take in the beauty all around you! Would definitely recommend.”

“This is a very lovely log cabin with a large main floor with beautiful and comfortable furniture, a large, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds and bedrooms upstairs. It's secluded, quiet, and set in a lovely area. It was pretty clean. I would recommend it and stay here again. My only concerns is that we arrived late at night and the house lights were not on outside and it was very dark and difficult to see.
