Cerca hotel in Contea di Hillsdale

“Got there, at 630am from driving since 8pm the previous night. They gave my room away after taking my money. In another state stranded with no hotel room I paid for in advance.”

“Heater didn’t work. I slept in my clothes. Tub is worn out and disgusting. I never took a shower. Lamps were cheap and provided inadequate light. Bathroom mirror was a carnival display of colors. Bath fan was loud and grinding. Well water from the sink smelled. Large crack in the ceiling in the bedroom ran completely across the room.”

“The playground out back is awesome! Besides the other issues already mentioned, the shower curtain was moldy. Several curb carts for trash were located right outside our door, bringing yellow jackets and a terrible smell.”

“It was a clean and fairly adequate motel except for the mattresses and other furniture. Out of three beds in our room, one was adequate and the other two were worn out and visibly sunken. There weren’t many amenities (ice, front desk, etc) but the lack of comfortable furnishings in the room - sunken beds, only a card table and three folding chairs, no place to put suitcases to open them, etc., made this property a negative for me.”

“Low budget choice that isn’t fit for most travelers. Rooms are old and cosmetic upgrades are well beyond needed. Poor lighting in room and had no access to turn heat on. This place can be a good choice if trying to save $, but be prepared to rough it!!”

“とても良い”

“The owners and staff are very nice and the breakfast was great!”

“Holly was so easy to talk to and very helpful! We had a blast tent camping and loved the property. We will definitely be back again!”

“What a wonderful experience at Lost Nation Cowboy town. So much to do! From hiking to horseback riding, paddle boating, getting to know the lo al animals and characters in the town- there is so much to enjoy! Holly and her partner were amazing hosts! 10/10! Will be visiting again”

“A unique unforgettable stay. Friendly hosts, a sweet rescue horse, barn cats and kittens, a charming atmosphere. We had the river side cabin, which is just a short hike away. Cozy, far enough away to feel private, close enough to get visits from Midnight (a cat!).”

“This tiny house was exactly what I was looking for. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed without feeling cramped. The space was thoughtfully laid out, and I really appreciated how peaceful it was. It was also close to get to Hillsdale College, while still giving me the feeling of being away from everything. For a quick overnight stay, it was perfect. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area who wants something a little different from a traditional hotel....

“Nice little place , full of beautiful art and scenery. Friendly host”

“Great home close to downtown and the college. Very convenient.”

“Holly is amazing. Her husband is a great help as well. I have stayed there twice now. This time was even more fun with having a horse back riding experience! We stayed for a couples night out. There were no spider webs in our cabin and we didn’t have to worry about asking for batteries for our fan! The accommodations for being a Rustic style experience were wonderful and clean. We definitely be going back.”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Staff are not on site all the time, but are very friendly and responsive through text and phone. A local market has most essentials you may need nearby, and there are a few restaurants around the area with good food.”

“Beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Others should know that water is not suitable for swimming, but very relaxing to enjoy with morning coffee or evening drinks. Thanks for sharing your lovely place Teresa and Glenn”
