“Nice place to stay”

“Old, dirty and outdated dump on the beach. Our room was never cleaned, although I have requested that service with front desk. Cleaning staff is not available on Sundays either. Hot tub never worked in years. They charge $60 for early check in and $10 parking per day which was not mentioned anywhere. Food at the bar is decent and live music was playing all weekend outside at the patio bar and inside the breakfast area on Sunday which was nice. The place needs serious cleaning and renovation. “The hotel next door is under major renovation Although closed, you drive through that lot to get to this hotel. Afternoon front desk person was very friendly. Parking is not included in the room price. Small issues such as pancake machine at breakfast out of order and no toilet paper in the mens restroom in the lobby. Biggest issue was the room. “The rooms do not look like the photos shown on Expedia. While the general layout was similar, the actual condition of the room was very disappointing. There were stains on the ceiling and on the bed covers, and the room had a strong mildew smell. The caulking around the shower was completely gone, which made the bathroom feel poorly maintained. “Typical place close to the coast. Nice pool, parking was good, workout room, clean room, comfortable clean bed. Great staff, good enough breakfast. Solid place to stay”

“Very old, outdated. Not enough lighting in the restroom, the towels were paper-thin, old, and we were given a very dirty or maybe stained towel. The sheets were stained, old - the cover between the sheets and the comforter was disgusting. Never again. The hallway smelled horrible. We were afraid to eat anything from the breakfast, knowing our room was not the best who knows what their kitchen was like since we can't see it. :( Sad to say we will not be staying there again ”
