“BENEDICTINE FAMILIES STAY AWAY! The smell of death in the parking lot should've been our first hint that this was no slice of heaven. We proceeded to the check in desk. The attendant, in her pajamas, helped a man paying for an additional week's stay. She ignored us, clicking slowly on her computer mouse, no eye-contact. I was about to interrupt her game of solitaire when she dead-panned, "may I help you." It was not a question. My teen daughter and I decided to join my son for freshman move-in....

The desk clerk gave us room 204 in the bathroom tub was a large spider on the floor were clippings from some sort of hair Changed rooms to 212 things seemed ok till the next day we noticed bed bugs. Went to the desk clerk and checked out didn’t even stay the night. Didn’t even get a refund drove home before we entered our house we stripped out of our clothes in the garage and showered. “We picked this location because it was so close to university of Kansas and it was only three minutes away. The employee at the front door was a great representative of the area. Very friendly, nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. We didn’t swim, but it was a nice area. We used the gym and there was a lot of good equipment. Typical but good continental breakfast. If my child goes to this college, we will definitely be staying here again.”

“Needs renovation, sagging ceiling tiles in the bathroom, bathtub faucet broken. Drywall next to AC unit waterlogged. Smells like people smoked there even if it's a non-smoking room. The pillows were stained. I'm not mad it's expected from a motel 6”
