“The bed was lumpy on one side and firm on the other. You have to discover the side you like! We were given a room on the first floor, facing the laundry on one side and the parking on another. When I asked to have a better room, I was told that there were no other rooms for what I paid. The room was expensive so I wonder if it’s because we reserved with Expedia that we got one of the worse rooms in the place.”

“Nice property for a quick stay. We had a large room with a living room and kitchen. The kitchen table was obviously in the wrong location when we came into the room. Oddly, whole place services were laid out for 4 people. We asked for wine glasses because the only glasses in the room held about 20 oz. But there were no wine glasses or juice glasses to be found. Nonetheless, a nice property if you are in the area.”

“Where do I even start? I don’t know how this place has any good reviews. It was filthy. The shower was yellow with filth and smelled like rot. It gave me athlete’s foot. The towels and sheets smelled moldy like the washing machine they were laundered in had never been cleaned. Shower curtain was also yellow with filth & smelled awful when wet. There was a fruit fly infestation from a garbage can in the common room that hadn’t been emptied in who knows how long. Hand towels/wash cloths weren’t...

“Beautiful of sunrises from my bed. Was very clean. Host was friendly and helpful. Great place.”

“The kitchen was beautiful and the kids loved the large bunks!”

“Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive. Probably worth...

“The property was very clean and the location was close to everywhere I wanted to go. The neighbors were very friendly as well.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Casa Bear. Very relaxing, I enjoyed going outside and sitting in the morning, drinking my tea and watching the eagles soar above the canyon. Very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were very clean, well organized and they provided all the basics one needs to prepare basic meals. It is definitely a place we will return to when we go back to visit Los Alamos family. Very peaceful.”

“This property was lovely. The check in process was seamless, everything was clean, convenient and thoughtful. The host went the extra mile by providing information about surrounding area events, restaurants and local current events!”

“This was a great location for our visit. The bus stop is close by, we could ride our bikes into town and it is in walking distance to the trails. We enjoyed a number of meals outside on the back porch. Sharon was prompt getting back to us when we had questions.”

“I only put a 4 out of 5 for the accuracy of the listing because it is leaps and bounds better than what is depicted. But in the listings defense, it really is impossible to describe. This property is exceptional! The views are phenomenal, the wildlife was mesmerizing, the home is spacious beyond what was described and the host was extremely accommodating, Booked this location for a work trip but will bring the family back to this house for a vacation! The views and aura of this property are an...

“5 stars!”

“This cabin is very clean and comfortable, with beautiful views. Secluded and on the side of a hill looking out at an eastern mountain range covered in trees. Very quiet surroundings that let you de-tox on the upper and lower decks, while sipping a cup of coffee. Very close to Fenton lake (10 miles), allowing for some great fishing and hiking. Excellent cabin that will have you not wanting to leave.”
