“Pros. Rooms were very neat and clean. Staff was helpful and pleasant. AC worked great! Lobby was comfortable for sitting and visiting. Cons. Wishing we could have had a later check out time due to having a toddler and no where to go for a few hours. They were calling us at 10 to remind us checkout is at 11am.”

“Seems like a nice new hotel but we had several issues--minor things like loose tiles in the entry hitting the bottom of the door to a major issue of never actually getting a key that worked after 4 trips back to the front desk. We ended up giving up and since we were there basically just to sleep we just had someone stay in the room at all times to let others in. “I had a very bad experience with expedia my reservation was canceled 20 min before check in and was no help was so disappointed had to book something close by it was my son's graduation surprise but when I checked in this other place the owners went beyond to make our stay great friendly gave us a free boat ride was an amazing experience made something bad turn into an amazing experience thank you forever grateful the nicest sweetest people and an awesome place to stay”

“The room was filthy. The toilet had obviously not been cleaned (think fecal smears and pubic hairs), and the floors had not been swept. The shower curtain contained mold. This is a discount motel, I get that. I don’t care about old fixtures. I do care about clean.”

“Property was terrible with dirty linens pillows blood trained sheets we did not stay walked out let them know how bad it was and the guy who was checking our complaints peeped is pants right in front of us. Also mold in the window an other places discussed why would you book anyone in this dirt filled property”

“The Cowboy Hat House was quirky and kitschy in the very best way! The decor was extraordinarily well-thought out and executed, and the amenities were practically everything you would have at home, to include items for children. ”

“While we had a tad issue with checking in, I was able to reach someone within 2 minutes and it was resolved. Melissa helped us quickly and was so sweet! The studio is super cute (newly being renovated), very clean and amazing location! The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Perfect for a weekend visiting SHSU!! We would stay here again!”

“My expectations were not high, a cabin in Huntsville, however I did not expect an old RV wrapped in old pieces of wood to look as a cabin. Cabin 2 had not switch for the bed area so no lights has to use phone. The shower was micro, water was really hot, that was a plus. It wasn't terrible, but if I realized it was an old RV I would not have chose it. Also, no fault to owners, weather was bad with rain so I had to walk about 100 yards through the field (path was mowed) to car barefoot so my...

“This was such a great place to stay. Left the city and spent the weekend fishing in this beautiful spot with family after my daughter’s wedding. Perfect bonding experience with the new son-in-law. So beautiful! Great communication with owner and super clean and very thoughtfully laid out. ”
