“There was mold on the bed skirts in our room. arrived late at night and didn't see it until next morning. no drinking cups in the room. Breakfast consisted of sausage, eggs, biscuits NO sausage gravy and waffles. no water or juice. I didn't see a staff member in the morning that we checked out.”

“This Super 8 is very well situated for our trips to Sterling. Check-in was very efficient this time! Staff was friendly and helpful. We used smaller room on first floor with queen-sized bed. Bed was very comfortable. Larger rooms with king-sized beds are on the second floor. WiFi was very good and TV worked well. Breakfast has gotten more spartan (cereal, milk, apple juice, coffee, toast, and pastry). Parking was convenient.”

“The property was beautiful. It was remote and the scenery was picturesque. The sound traveled oddly clear over the lake. We could make out distict voices from the house across the way although it was too far to see them. We didn't mind the noise, though. The problem was that there was no wifi, no bath towels, no hand towels, no toilet paper, no paper towels, and no broom. We had to go to the closest walmart 25 minutes away to buy these basic amenities for ourselves. There was a canoe and paddle...

“Very peaceful view. Lots of birds, fish jumping in the water, barges (can drive up the road about 20 mins to see the barges go through the lock and dam which was cool!). Quiet area and didn't hear or see any neighbors really.Kitchen has almost everything you'd need. Although we didn't use it, the washer and dryer has detergent.”

“Beautiful home with every amenity you could ever need, from toiletries to kitchenware, to a hair dryer (thank goodness because I had forgotten ours). High quality towels and toilet paper plus the beds were so comfortable. The decor was charming and the couch even reclines! After a long day of driving, it was the perfect place to stop and rejuvenate on our road trip. Barb was lovely. She was so accommodating and responsive which is much appreciated. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking...

“The property was more private than we were anticipating. Very quiet neighborhood on a dead end gravel road. The house has it's own dock and boat launch, which was not expected. We brought our fishing boat, so it was perfect! There were a lot of backup supplies that came in handy, also. The house is a bit dated, but we did not mind; it did not affect our experience at all. A couple critiques: consider putting curtains on the windows (especially the bedrooms.) There is central AC, but the bedrooms...
