I would avoid the Asian night and highly recommend the gourmet Mexican and Italian themed nights. I really loved this quaint and charming resort with beautiful grounds and gardens.”

“Canto is an older resort. Check in process could be better. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly! Our AC was under repair and ran the whole time we were there, so our room was cold, which wasn’t an issue. The food was delicious with great variety. There were many activities scheduled each day and the pool entertainment was really fun! Beds were hard, but they furnished a foam mattress that helped a lot. Overall a great visit, I would book this all inclusive resort again.”

“Food was great. Worth booking club level at this resort. Daily breakfast was fresh and lots of choices. Azur and Mond were great for club level! Andres, Carlos, & Pedro for pool service were excellent. Jorge for daily activities was also great. Evening shows are lacking. The Earth Day fire dancing was great. The Mexican Fiesta night would have been great if the Marache band was outside. It was way too loud. Beach was clean and lots of beach chairs to use. Overall, 10 days was too long to just...

“The poolside seating is really nice, especially the cabanas. I had dinner at the really nice restaurant upstairs and the food there was delicious. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, although there was a strong odor of mildew that I complained about and was never completely cleared, the view was beautiful. The food at the buffet was just okay. I saw birds eating directly from the dessert table a few times. Overall it was a good experience. Reasonable prices and...

“Lo mejor del hotel es su personal, muy atentos y serviciales, lo negativo es la limpieza y mantenimiento del hotel, aunque vi personal limpiando, quizás lo que falta es mejorar el método de limpieza y darle mantenimiento y limpieza al mobiliario del inmueble. Las habitaciones están muy bien, pero el primer día no hicieron la limpieza, y tuve que el segundo día en la tarde buscar al personal y pedirla ya que el servicio termina a las 5 Pm y ya iba a dar esa hora y no lo habían hecho”
