“The bush room was very comfortable and I'm sorry we weren't able to see it in the daylight as I think the views from the little outside balcony would have been brilliant. (arrived late and off before dawn for the Anzac service). A little care to be taken going down the steps to use the bathroom in the main house, (as I said it was dark) but otherwise all good and suited our needs. Thankyou to Grant for picking us up at the station as the train was very delayed.”

“The road up the mountain was exciting. There were 11 adults (3 generations in our group). We all walked up the hill to the recreation area and used the pool, tennis court and ping pong table. The house provided plenty of space in the kitchen/dining room for us to enjoy our Mexican evening and pool comp.All 11 of us agreed the accommodation, views and amenities are 5 star and perfect for a fun weekend. “We stayed at the Retreat for a family wedding , we had 5 adults and still had room for more. The rumpus room with pool table and table tennis table was a huge bonus and we were the envy of others that stayed there. The house was great and we did not need anything else to make our stay better, we were warned to bring everything with us. All the wildlife around was wonderful as well, reminded us that we live in Australia. It was a shame that we could not fully go on the long bush walks on...

“Wonderful location, perfectly quiet and serene, completely off the grid, just what our family needed to switch off and disconnect from the business that is life. The house had all the basic necessities as well as what looked like some carefully curated pieces of furniture and pieces or art which added to the cosy ambience. Communication with the host was very straight forward. We would happily visit again.”

“The photos dont do justice to the place. View is great, the place is comfy, bed was nice. Shame there are no photos of the kitchen, but it has everything you need. I would suggest adding a bluetooth speaker, extra towels and BBQ cleaning products and a brush.”
