“The property was clean and it was what we needed for the weekend close to Walmart and walkable to sonic. One downside was the door was a hassle due to it would get stuck and make a horrible sound on the floor. But other than that it was what was needed and front office personal was nice and welcoming ”

“We rented for 3 wks for work in the area and really enjoyed coming home from hard day at work and sitting on the dock and screened in porch. Owners were friendly and checked on us regularly. I would stay again in a heart beat. ”

While our days were busy out and about, we were excited to get back and enjoy our evenings overlooking the water from the deck. Perfect location, nice neighbors, quiet. We loved the fact that the house sits below road level. The lack of traffic noise was a bonus for us.”

“Emmett is an amazing owner who made sure we had everything we needed. The place is absolute fabulous. Beds were comfortable and the VIEWS were stunning. We caught nearly 40 catfish on worms from the dock. Also you will have your own aquarium view under the dock light. Swirling bait fish and a ton of spotted and grey gar fish. This is our second stay at one of his properties. Highly recommend. ”

“This house is a true Louisiana home with a lot of history. Great location to all the restaurants and places to see. We felt very comfortable and our host is kind and considerate. We will definitely stay here again.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Clean and inviting. We were visited by nice neighbors including a couple of birds and a mink. Air Conditioner wasn’t cooling when we arrived, but a service tech came out quickly and fixed the issue. Hosts were quick to help and also followed up the next morning. We recommend staying here. ”
