“Everything was perfect. It’s clean, enough parking and the host was responsive. Thank you”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights while exploring the area and hiking. The cabin was about 40 minutes from Watkins Glen State Park, and the drive was easy and scenic. We really enjoyed our stay! The unpaved roads added to the adventure rather than being a nuisance. The wildlife was a joy to see, and relaxing by the campfire under the stars at night was so peaceful and serene. The cabin was beautiful, and the bed was super cozy. We highly recommend staying here! Thank you for...

“Quiet, peaceful, clean, and comfortable. The host was very helpful with our last-minute reservation.”

“Clean, comfy rental with everything we needed as a home base for our summer Finger Lakes vacation. Inside was bigger than it looked from the listing pictures. Super cozy living room for hanging out and watching movies. Window air conditioners and ceiling fans kept upstairs and downstairs cool. Appreciated the abundance of glasses, mugs, silverware, plates, etc. Washer toss game was a big hit!”

“Stocked kitchen ”

“Grey's Getaway Cabin is the most tranquil and peaceful setting we have experienced in a long time - if ever! The cabin is very comfy and cozy with everything you could need. The hosts were easy to communicate with for any questions we had and were so kind to welcome us with a beautiful bottle of wine and a flower bouquet. Nice touch! This place may be a new favorite for us (and our Dog!) Thank you Kathy and Ted for offering this fantastic rental!”

“A perfect location & house for family activities!Comfortable rooms, well-designed layout for gathering during the day & privacy at night.”

“Convenient, clean and comfortable home secluded away but close enough to the action! My wife and I LOVED our stay here and would definitely come back! Our favorite part was quite mornings sipping coffee on the back balcony, overlooking the property while listening to the birds! First class stay.”

“This is our go to for our girls wine tasting weekends. It’s like our second home. We go right to our respective rooms to set up as soon as we get there. Beautiful combination of rustic and modern. The property is gorgeous and peaceful. Love sitting on porch with morning coffee to watch the sunrise and the wildlife.”

“Such a great stay! Highly recommended”

“Overall, we had an amazing stay. The kitchen was the deciding factor for choosing this place over others, and it exceeded our expectations. It had plenty of space for spending time with family around the kitchen island. The outer buildings were very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The only thing that may need improvement are the downstairs bedrooms in the main house, they would benefit from a dehumidifier or air purifier for the slight musty smell. All of our party said they enjoyed their stay and...

“La casa è grande, ben tenuta e molto ben fornita. La posizione è buona, anche se non ha accesso diretto al lago, comunque ha la vista sul lago. I soffitti al piano superiore sono molto bassi, ma per il resto non ci sono particolari difetti. C'è una grande tranquillità nei dintorni e la zona è molto bella. Ci siamo rilassati e divertiti durante il nostro soggiorno!”

“Our stay was great at this property. Check in was easy as well. This property is at the very end of the East side of Canandaigua lake, so the seaweed was abundant as far as swimming or fishing goes. The owners have a nice variety of kayaks, canoes and a row boat which was awesome. The cottage is charming and has AC which is a huge plus. The grounds are nice and the view is quite beautiful. We did lose power one day due to a storm, our host was great with communication and helping us get the...

“Great communication! Wonderful place”

“Best lake view and such a quaint little row of cottages! We had everything we needed. They provide an initial care package in case you left something home. Plenty of space, large side yard, right on the shore, easy to cook with kitchen amenities and much more! We were able to bring our dogs and this is the perfect location to do so. If you’re looking for a peaceful vacation where you can bring what you need and not have to leave for every meal, etc this is it!! Plus plenty to do if you want to...

“The inside of the house was very nice and clean on the main floor and upstairs. Very functional main house. There were some bugs crawling around the room and bathroom in the basement. The outside was a bit overgrown and could have used a good power washing. The dock was nice once you got down there. We had a couple issues when we got there and the communication was amazing and things were resolved quickly.”
