“Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! ”

“Place is exactly how it looks! Great location between New Paltz, Kingston, Woodstock. We unfortunately had inconsiderate neighbors that forced us leave early, but Frank was incredibly gracious and made it up to us. Would stay again. ”

“it is amazing place ! beautiful and peaceful ...... very secluded everything that you need you could find in the kitchen if you cook for yourself the only suggestion to the owner to change the bed , too soft and you fall in when you lie on it ”

“This cute cottage was as advertised. The a/c unit was quiet, which I was grateful for. The dishes and cold water were welcome touches and we enjoyed a nice picnic at the available picnic table. The listing is accurate in terms of traffic noise. It was louder than I had hoped, but I was fairly warned. The big shade trees added some charm, and I could tell the owners care about the place and providing a nice stay. ”

“Can’t say enough good things! Don was communicative, the house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for everyone. The backyard was incredible and we had such a great time using the kayaks and relaxing under the gazebo. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with anything we could have needed. Absolutely recommend!! ”

“Had a wonderful time staying in this lovely home. Four bright bedrooms and three contemporary bathrooms. Comfortable and secluded nestled in the woods among natural habitats which you can enjoy from the large deck! Lots to do in the area including plentiful restaurants! Highly recommend and definitely would return again!”

“We had a nice stay at this charming historic cottage while my daughter and her friend competed at the annual Millbrook Horse Trials over 4 days. The kitchen had everything needed plus they included some extras in the fridge such as filtered water, ice, coffee, etc. We loved to see the chickens running around too. We hope to return next year and book this same place once we have the dates!”

“I stayed here for three nights with my elderly mom. The home is lovely and very comfortable, with lovely linens, updated bathrooms, and luxurious beds. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped for anything you might want to prepare. This would be an excellent spot for a family with children. The hosts were very responsive and gracious. Above all else, the view is absolutely spectacular. I wish i could wake up to it every day. I hope to go back in the fall when the leaves are changing. Highly...

“We were in town for a family wedding and found this quaint little apartment that was quiet and secluded. Being on the river we did find a lot of bugs, but nothing we couldnt handle. The owners were extremely nice and responsive and we had a wonderful stay. ”

“Absolutely magical place! The Yurt was immaculate, cozy and so beautiful. The property was so stunning it actually took my breath away! My dog and I had so much fun exploring the many acres and beautiful waterfall and streams. My husband and I just relaxed and we felt renewed when we left! Beds were comfy, kitchen had all things needed, bathroom was so clean and towels were lovely. There’s even a washer/dryer!I’m going to mention two things that are not negatives, just information for those...

“Gorgeous space with spectacular views of the Hudson river. Super short walk to the both the DIA Beacon and the Metro North Train station. Easy 10-15 minute walk to town for cafes/restaurants or take the free Beacon bus. Excellent restaurants: Had an amazing meal a the Wild and great meal at Momo.”

“The house was perfect for our Hudson Valley excursion with family. Kids loved the arcade games and skylights. We were able to get to Bear Mountain, Mohonk and Hyde Park extremely easily. Excellent walk down to the river and quiet neighborhood. Loved it.”

“We had a fantastic few days at Bellavista with a large group of friends. We enjoyed the gorgeous views, the peace and quiet and secluded nature of the property, the space and the facilities.
