“Good location for easy access to highways, restaurants and shopping. The property is older (renovated), but you can tell it has been around a while. The floors seemed slightly tilted in locations, were very creaky and the hallways were musty smelling. The rooms were clean and I had almost no complaints except for the noisy shower/tub. I luckily was on the second floor, but I imagine that every step above in the shower and on the creaky floor was audible below. The breakfast ok served its...

“Personale svogliato. Solo al check-in con due operatori ho atteso 20 minuti perchè Lei doveva “sistemare delle carte” e lui non era disponibile. Alla colazione, 15 minuti di attesa per sedersi, entriamo e la sala era quasi vuota. Ho chiesto da bere, me ne sono andato a prendere in cucina. “Free breakfast was horrendous and not many options. Our room had a sour moldy smell and bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. I complained to the front desk rep and I was told they did not have maids on duty but they would spray something in the room. Whatever it was made smell somewhat tolerable. One night stay but never again.”

“Great hotel! Perfect for our visit to Gettysburg. The pool and hot tub were great, and the breakfast was hot and delicious. The ladies attending the breakfast were very attentive and helpful. They even offered to carry a plate to our table because they could see our hands were full. Lovely place and even lovelier people.”

“My wife and I stayed for a night to attend a wedding. The room and the property were very nice. Everything was clean and well maintained. I was worried that the 3 pm check-in would make us late to the ceremony, but the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Check-in took less than 5 minutes! The lobby had decent coffee even in the afternoon. I’ll definitely stay here again when in town.”

“We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax.”
