“My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life.”

We ate breakfast in the hotel everyday which was delicious & there was a fantastic choice of different dishes. The staff were all super friendly & helpful & the hotel is located near to all the restaurants, bars & shops in the area. I would love to return one day & try one of the other rooms”

“Lovely hitel in an udeal location, 5 min walk to Windermere Kake and town center with plenty of shops and eateries. The spa is ideal after a busy day out to unwind in. Cosy small double room was also modern and comfy, and a good size. Complimentary Elemis toiletries in bathroom too. We ate at the restaurant onsite which was very enjoyable.”

“Overall we had an excellent time at the burn how hotel. We did feel that the rooms could benefit from a little refresh, as some areas looked tired. The staff are simply fantastic! “This is a lovely hotel in a great location. My room was gorgeous and had the best nights sleep I’ve had in years, as the room is sound proofed. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Just a few things to be aware of. This hotel is quite expensive to book, and it’s a little cheeky they charge an Additional cost for parking, £25 for the night. It does not have aircon so is quite warm. The food and drink are overpriced. (Recommend going elsewhere) However, it is a lovely hotel and you can’t...

We also used the wellness centre and would definitely recommend it. It's really clean and modern with lots to offer. The hotel is is really central to windermere, we were able to walk everywhere easily. We'd definitely stay here again.”

“I stayed at the Hillthwaite at the end of my tour of Scotland. The luxury feel was throughout the hotel. The room was small but very comfortable and perfect for my needs. The staff - particularly the dinner and breakfast waiting staff - were amazing. The whole place was very well run. The view from the dinning room was breathtaking too. ”
