Hotel a Drift Bay

“Lovely clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows, wish we could have slept there again! We had dinner in the evening and shared the waffles in the morning, both meals excellent, nice beers on tap. Staff all lovely and very welcoming, friendly other patrons in the bar. Would stay again and highly recommend it to others!”

“Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is close enough to the town centre and an easy walk. There are many different accommodation buildings spread over a large property, giving a spacious holiday park feel. Facilities are old but everything worked, including the heater.”

“Great place to crash while in Queestown, modern facilities and comfortable stay. It's also close to the city center, just a couple of minutes walk. The app did not work very well for the check-in for us - luckily, the girl at the reception was very nice and helped us complete the check-in.”

“I have been to many accomodations establishments and La Quinta would have to be at the top of the list for value for the amenities on offer. Very clean, all the cooking facilities, dishwasher, 7kg washing machine, clothes dryer, large screen television and a proper two door refrigerator. We booked through Expedia so we were entitled to a free drink and snack. Staff are very friendly and helpful and are willing to go the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one. “L'hotel e' bello ma decisamente lontano dalla città, 11km. Durante il soggiorno non ci sono state rimess ed le bustine di caffe' e di zucchero in camera.”

“Loved that it is environmentally focused. Showers were great. Much better than they looked as I am not really a fan of showers over a bath. Restaurant was AMAZING! I would come here again regardless of whether I was staying or not. Wrong grind of coffee for the plunger, but that is really the only negative I can think of :)”

“We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car. A delightful stay.”

“The room we stayed in was on level 2 street facing. We had a terrible night with constant noise from the next door occupants. The rooms at the hotel are clearly not noise proof. Whilst no one expects complete sound proof. At least it should control the loud noises. We were also disturbed early morning with a huge touristy bus trying to park on the street on side of our room. The driver’s ongoing yelling woke us up well before we intended. Won’t be staying at this hotel again.”
