“The Occidental Lodge is a very charming, old-school lodge that is well-maintained and absolutely spotless. My favorite part was that there were no smells at all in the room, which I loved!The lodge is located in a tiny, quiet town that I would describe as a micro-country town. “Could not even check. My money was totally wasted. Made the reservation after 10 and didn't read the fine print that I would need to make arrangements with the hotel before 9 to get keys! Why did Expedia and the hotel take my money when I drove all that way and wasted that money for nothing! Extremely frustrating experience. Guess you always have to read the fine print. Corporate America is all too happy to steal your hard-earned money!”

“I really thought their lack of flexibility was really poor. I tried to change my reservation with 72 hours notice with no luck. This lack of flexibility will have me look elsewhere on my return visits.”

“Honestly, this is a gem of a hotel. It is located next to an animal hospital that I have to visit once every six months. This is was my first time staying here, but the staff was super accommodating and helpful. The property is perfectly maintained the hotel itself is very clean the rooms are comfy and cozy and overall a very great experience here I will be staying again.”

“The lady at the desk furing checkin was terrible. Rude. Tried to get me to get a room that i didnt want. Then i asked for an extra blanket, towel and pillow for a third person and had to get them myself. However, other staff seemed very nice and helpful. We switched rooms after the girst room smelt of pet urine.”

“The rooms were very beautiful and well decorated. The glamping tents had such a cozy vibe that first beautifully with the view. At night there could be blasting music which the provided ear plugs is very helpful! The host was very welcoming and the place was very beautiful”

“Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was just yogurt and granola. The street noise at night can be disruptive to sleep. I liked being close to the Courthouse Plaza. Parking required either paying a meter every 3 hours or paying for valet.”

“This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. When I arrived, after a very long drive, I was not greeted by the staff but instead was given a hand telling me to wait as the staff finish a FaceTime call. The room was picked up and the bed sheets appeared clean was the highlight of this room. The shower floor was filthy and the door to the room was disgusting, dirty! Light switches felt sticky. Our AC semi worked but, every time it kicked on it sounded like a Mac truck was passing by....
