“Absolutely perfect. bed was very comfortable with nice sheets; loved kitchen - French press/ coffee and coffee grinder was so neat and delicious. Wallpaper with squirrels was so cute. I have been wanting to stay in Dunsmuir- I worked at clinic there for 3 years but you are so busy there’s never any time to check out Dunsmuir. My husband and I finally got to check out Dunsmuir brewery and just walk around Dunsmuir, and visit bee kind bakery! Everything there and at the brewery was so delicious...

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.”

“Great location, quiet neighborhood, and great communication with host! Plan on staying again!!”

“Outside of buildings all covered with spiderwebs which gave a dirty appearance. Inside the closet door was broken, there were hangers laying in the window, and there was a dirty towel stuffed in a kitchen door. The view of the lake from the pier was lovely, but the furniture had not been cleaned in some time. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed The House of Light. The place was perfect for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed venturing out for hikes and visits during the day and having a quiet, comfortable, and spacious place to land at the end of the day. Sitting at the terrace with a view of Mount Shasta was an extra gift. Michael was great and available if we needed anything or had a question.”

"Il motel è nella media americana e sopratutto è pulito, ma mi è stata assegnata la camera per invalidi che ho trovato molto scomoda doccia che allagava tutto il bagno, lavandino basso e nessuna scrivania (cosa che le altre camere hanno). Inoltre quel giorno è stato anche un problema parcheggiare perché il parcheggio era pieno di camion dei vigili del fuoco che hanno portato via lo spazio agli altri clienti. Probabilmente con un’altra stanza la mia valutazione sarebbe stata più alta, ma ho chiesto altra stanza e mi è stato risposto che non ne avevano pulite. "
