“Omg!!! The Highlands Ranch Resort is a hidden gem!! Gorgeous surroundings, 10 min drive outside Lassen Volcanic NP. The individual cottages with fireplaces, heated tiled bathroom floors, the most comfortable bed and bedding! In the morning light snow was falling - breath taking views! Our dinner and drinks in the main lodge with a roaring fire was 5 star!! This place is a must!! It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! “This was just a one-night stopover on our way to a family reunion in Oregon, but it was really pleasant. Google maps took us to a neighboring apartment complex (across the backyard fence from the home) but once we found our way, everything was really nice. Also appreciate the property's dog-friendly policy! We used the BBQ, had a nice dinner, slept well (thanks to the AC, which worked well and quickly), and were on our way. Thanks again!”
