Fuga d'oro- in città, con vista sull'acqua

Salpa verso questo porto di scalo nel centro di Douglas, nel Michigan, e raggiungi una vacanza d'oro. Battezzato "Randolph and Water Place", scoprirai che è una brezza (lacustre) che cammina verso negozi, ristoranti e gallerie locali, o persino verso il bellissimo lago Kalamazoo dove puoi noleggiare paddle board, kayak e simili.

Questo cottage a due camere a tema nautico offre una camera da letto al piano superiore e al piano inferiore, entrambe con letti Queen e bagni annessi. La cucina è completamente attrezzata e dispone di un bar per la colazione con posti a sedere per due. La sala da pranzo offre molto spazio per godersi le attività con gli ospiti. La zona giorno offre l'unica TV del cottage e la casa è dotata di WIFI. Il tavolo con ombrellone e il giardino paesaggistico ti attireranno all'esterno per goderti il sole estivo e il tramonto dorato.

Puoi continuare il divertimento dopo il tramonto godendoti la buca per il fuoco e la vasca idromassaggio!

Infine, sali in macchina (o in barca) e fai un breve viaggio di 5 minuti a Douglas Beach o Oval, dove potrai davvero sperimentare il meglio del West Michigan!

Great Location on Lake Michigan

Stayed at the house for family reunion. Beautiful scenery and great location close to downtown Saugatauk and Douglas. We were allowed to check in an hour early for some that were coming from airport. Also Chadd kindly dropped off some skewers to make s’mores over the fire.

Family Reunion

Beautiful setting with gorgeous sunsets. House is very spacious and has very comfortable seating on the double screened porches and in the family room. Nice long dining table. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit.

Fennville/Saugatuck Family Vacation 2024!

We loved our week at the Sunset View Cottage!! It was the perfect place for our multigenerational family. We enjoyed our morning coffee with a view….our wine and dinners with a view too!! The kitchen was perfect for group cooking and dinners…the hot tub was a fun way to end our active days ! We walked the tree lined street and rode bikes too! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage….just so perfect for our week!! We all said it was the best!! Hope to come back for round 2!!!

Family Reunion Vacation

Perfect home to relax and catch up with family. Lovely setting on Lake Michigan with views of sunset from hot tub and firepit and porches. Good restaurants in Douglas and Saugatuck. Plenty to do if desired.

A Slice of Heaven on Lake Michigan

A beautiful, cozy home with great views from every window and everything you could possibly need. Super close to the many activities, restaurants and parks in Douglas and Saugatuck, but also has enough going on (hot tub, fire pit, games, fireplace) that you could easily hunker down and have a fun vacation without ever leaving this amazing house!

A Break at the Lake

Wonderfully relaxing. The sweeping view of Lake Michigan was awesome and the nearness of it meant being lulled to sleep each night by the waves breaking on the shore. And the coziness of the fireplace in the great room made the cool and rainy days almost welcome. We’ve already booked a return visit.

The 4 for cleanliness is because the BBQ grill was a mess. We spent about 15 minutes cleaning it up. Other than that the rest of the house was a 5.

Ideal getaway!

Lovely home located within a short drive of many local places worth visiting. But more importantly a perfect place to relax and soak up nature! Unbelievable views of Lake Michigan from every room in the house. Indoor and outdoor seating areas plentiful and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Family Vacation

The location of this property is spectacular! The Sunset Views are exquisite. We loved the hammocks, the hot tub, the fire pit, the beach, and the close proximity to Saugatuck. The home had a wonderful layout for our entire family. Each room was very special and we enjoyed all locations throughout the house. We took long walks on Lakeshore Drive in front of the house which were lovely. The owners were very accommodating and kindly answered any questions we had during our stay. This was a five star experience for our whole family. We would return !

Family Lake Week

We had a fantastic week stay at the Sunset View Cottage. The views of Lake Michigan were amazing. Had a great weather week and when it rained, we enjoyed watching the rain roll in from the screened in porch. Would definitely return for another visit and would recommend to others.

Great House with even a better location.

This house was better than described on VRBO. Each bedroom had its own AC system, besides the whole house, for maximum comfort. The master bedroom suite was very large and the bathroom was comparable to a suite at the American Club. The 2nd best bedroom was the over the garage suite with a privacy door and a wonderful bathroom. The kitchen was so well stocked that it even had a pizzelle maker and more glassware than you could use. The lower lake deck had everything you needed to make your day on the lake enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.

Surprise 60th birthday

Absolutely perfect! Comfort, style, top notch. Every single chair was so comfortable, dining seating was perfect for family gathering. The view was amazing! I honestly cannot say enough how enjoyable our stay was. Except maybe it was too short! We didn’t want to leave! Sound system was the bomb!

Amazing home

This place is amazing! The views of Lake Michigan are outstanding. The decor was Cozy cabin meets retro chic and we were obsessed! The shower in the master bath was to die for. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. This is the house you go to and don’t want to leave, but if you do it is so close to downtown. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Can’t wait to come back!

Vacation/Anniversary getaway 😊

Where do I begin? This is our 2nd times staying here and it’s just as breathtaking as the first!! We celebrated our 11 year anniversary and even brought along more family to enjoy a little vacation time. The weather was amazing so it just made it that much more memorable. The hosts and property manager are great and easy to reach! I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here! If you are lucky as we were- you will want to go back time and time again!! Absolutely refreshing, beautiful and last but not least- DREAMY!!!

Another wonderful week at our home away from home!

My family enjoyed another wonderful week making priceless memories at the Sunset Views Cottage, the most amazing views on Lake Michigan! Our hosts were so wonderful, once again making our booking, check-in and check-out process a breeze. The property manager was incredibly responsive when we reached out with any questions during our stay, and was as friendly and helpful as can be. The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and two children. We didn’t need to bring much because it’s so well stocked with towels, blankets, some water toys, cooking supplies and even a s’mores kit that we enjoyed around the fire pit. We enjoyed watching the boats go by, Bald Eagles soar overhead and a storm roll in from the amazing deck below and great room above. We love how comfortable the rooms, furniture and sitting areas are throughout the property. We also enjoyed walking up Lakeshore Drive in the evenings. But the sunsets were perhaps my favorite part of each day. Cloudy or clear, we made sure to be home to see “the show” each evening which ranged from soft cotton candy skies to the most radiant and striking colors as the sun dipped down into the lake. We can’t get enough of Sunset Views, or our wonderful hosts! We look forward to booking again and again.

Perfect for Connecting w/Family

Amazing house that is big enough but not too big. We so enjoyed staying at Brian and Matt’s Sunset Cottage. I planned a surprise 60th for my husband where all 3 of our kids and spouses came for a 3-day weekend. We had plenty of space, gorgeous views, comfortable beds, private sleeping spaces, a dinning table that worked for all of us, the hot tub, the fire pit and an amazingly well stocked kitchen. We loved our stay and made great memories. Simply wonderful!

Anniversary to remember

Where do I begin? From the moment we walked in and took one look at our view, it was unbelievable! I mean you’re literally on the water!! Plus the house was perfectly stocked, grill just out the back door, and a hot tub- great for stargazing. So many amazing perks in the house, but it still feels homely. Every morning was spent with freshly brewed coffee on the porch listening to the water hit the shore. The bedrooms are cozy, temperature in every room was perfect. But the hidden secret to the whole place is the master bathroom- the shower room is ridiculous! Brian and Matthew were gracious hosts, and their property manager Chad is readily available. What a way to spend our 10yr anniversary. This home is amazing and we will definitely be back!

Fabulous Family Reunion

Beautiful cottage, fantastic sunsets and tons of amenities! Any questions or issues we had were handled quickly by Chad. The hot tub, fire pit and swing chairs were some our favorites. We LOVE Sunset Cottage!

Heaven on Earth...with a View!

My family just wrapped-up our5th family summer trip to Michigan, and this was our first staying on the lake. We were a little nervous because we usually stay in the heart of Saugatuck. We weren't sure if we would miss being in town. I can truly say we LOVED the change. We could easily get into Saugatuck or Douglas in 10-minutes...but found ourselves drawn to simply being together at this breathtaking cottage. This home caught our eye from the beautiful photos, bedroom/bathroom set-up and of course...the water views and amazing location on Lake Michigan. The photos truly give you a great idea of the beauty and features of this amazing home, but what you don't see are all the thoughtful touches that made our stay so welcoming, effortless and easy. We had two young kids (almost 3 and 5) and felt the house provided so much space to simply enjoy our time together. The home is so well stocked with towels, sunscreen, bug spray, cooking supplies, and the most COMFORTABLE furnishings we've ever enjoyed in a rental. My 2.5 year-old nephew proclaimed on our last morning "Go home? This is home now." We couldn't have agreed with his sentiment more! We were emotional leaving, because we made so many wonderful memories there over the week. We left a piece of our hearts in Sunset View. The darling decor, comfortable bedrooms, incredible Master shower and tub, relaxing hot tub, the wonderful assortment of seating areas, and most of all...the kind and generous hosts who made our stay so special won't soon be forgotten. We cannot wait to return next summer.
