“The room was very comfortable with places to sit and a refrigerator with freezer. Great breakfast buffet. Only one elevator was working which created quite a wait. The swimming pool was out of order. The only place to get ice was on the first floor - all the others were out of order. The staff did keep the lobby area and hallways clean.”

“I was very surprised. The facility was very run down. The room had a kitchenette absolutely no items to use in the kitchen. No mugs no glasses no plates no silverware. Nothing to make coffee or tea not even a roll a paper towels. The best thing about my room was the bed. I will never book there again.”

“Super clean and quiet little no-frills location sitting in the shadows of two major hotels..no staff on site but unless you have some kind of weird emergency, there's no need..within walking distance to some pretty decent restaurants and REI and convenient to the I40/440 interchange..if you want peace and quiet and love a place that quietly flies under the radar, then check out Hive House...”

“Wonderful place walking distance to everything downtown, only complaint is no parking, you have to find a spot on street or around corner in a parking garage which may not work for everybody, we managed it fine.”

“Very nice staff”

“Hotel was very clean. There were signs of an old building refurbished, like the low-feeling ceilings and painted over bumps in the trim, a patch of plaster on the bathroom wall where something had once been, but everything was very clean. There were lots of grab bars around the tub in our ADA accessible room, but no shower seat. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an extra charge when we booked, which has not been the norm with our Holiday Inn Express experiences...
