“This was my 4th visit to The Block. I love this place, with one exception, during my last 2 visits I have encounter front desk staff that seem unengaged with guests. When I interacted with the front desk I encountered blank stares and curt responses to any inquires vs. the enthusiastic, engaged staff that was previously common. ”

“Parking with a truck and snowmobile trailer was horrible. I called the hotel in advance before booking and asked about parking. I was told they have bus and truck.trailer parking on site. “No restaurant on site was open. No free breakfast in holiday inn . Shower was broken so was moved to another room but room was kind of facing the interior and was pitch dark thru the window. Sewer smell near the lobby. I would say if possible avoid. Find a better place ”

“We enjoyed our stay at the property and would stay again. It is in a great location with a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the Peak 9 lift. Parking is really easy in an underground structure. The gym was nice as were the hot tubs. Charter sports is located on the property but Christy’s is a 3 mins walk away as well. Ski and snowboard gear must be checked into the Charter Ski Valet regardless of where you rent from or even if you own your own skis. The front desk staff was excellent. The...
